Another airline took my bag Nye. The pilot puddle jumped at near sundown over to Nanaimo and back and hand delivered my bag to me at our cottage. Amazing service. Great humans. Love it.

I had a tight schedule and had to make a connecting flight. The entire team was incredibly helpful to do whatever they could to ensure I made my flight. We left a few minutes early and called ahead to have a taxi waiting for me. Top notch service all around. Thank you!

This small seaplane service is extremely well-run. A beautiful vintage de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver flies from Gabriola Island and other nearby islands to YVR south terminal, and back. A huge time-saver (and cost-saver) for those wanting to leave the car in Vancouver, or vice-versa. If you're nice to the pilot, you might get to sit up front and wear the headphones! Many times, we've gotten incredible views of whales and other large sea life, as the plane only flies at about 500 feet altitude. A fun adventure for kids, with plenty of leg room for tall adults. Pro tip: call ahead if you have a large bag, and they may put it on an earlier flight to avoid delays or extra fees.

Couldn't have been happier with my experience on Gulf Island Seaplanes. Not only was the flight beautiful and convenient, they bent over backwards to accommodate me. Air Canada canceled my 6 am flight coming to Vancouver from Prince George which caused me to miss my 1145 flight to Silva Bay. When I called Gulf Island Seaplanes they were happy to move me on to a later flight without charging me anything extra. They even called me back a couple of times to make sure that I was going to make it. Such excellent service!
